The Road to Cali
By: Robert Bodine Jr.

For most people, a road is a path that leads you typically where you need to go.  For Ana Bravo, that road is California.  Ana, a 24-year-old native of Quito, Ecuador, moved to Texas in 2014.  Ana's Stepfather was a U.S. Marine who worked at the U.S. Embassy there in Quito, and met and fell in love with her mother.  Ana is currently a senior at Texas State University and is majoring in Advertising.  Initially she wanted to major in International Studies because of her passion for helping others.  Due to that major being so broad, Ana changed to Marketing because she has a creative side in herself.  She loves to edit things, do research and loves psychology.  Ultimately, Ana realized Advertising is what she wanted to do.  Specifically, a California based company called Patagonia.  Ana really loves the fact that Patagonia’s mission is helping the environment while selling clothes that they consider for silent sports like climbing, skiing, and surfing that do not harm the environment.  Ana Bravo’s road to Cali is almost complete.  Her driving force is her compassion for others and helping to save our delicate environment.
